What kind of parents are these? Rin's and Yuki's not to mention Kyou's father. They are horrible. Rin's background story was so sad...

This was a bit of a meh volume for me, mostly because I'm not very interested in the student council stuff (even though I know it's important for Yuki and his development). However, the
Kyo/Tohru
moment in Kyoto was sooo divine and lovely. I remember loving the Kureno stuff when I was younger but it feels so incredibly icky now and I wish it wasn't there. The Momo and Momijo content on the other hand made me tear up - their story is so sad but so lovely at the same time.

Get on with it. And now I'm just turning pages hoping that this storyline will resolve. Though what will happen if it does considering I'm really only about halfway through the series. And they are still introducing characters that I can't keep track of or recognize. And I want our main pov heroine to be more active and meaningful. Sigh.

A lot happens in this volume, but one of the most memorable chapters for me is the whole Momo-Momiji sibling part and Momiji helping Tohru find Kureno; that chapter has stayed with me no matter how many years have passed since the initial read.

Not a lot happens in this volume, but I enjoyed it. It was cute. I liked Tohru’s zodiac display at the end.
