This isn't a usual book I would read and it came recommended by @thistashreads ❤️that being said, I absolutely loved this book and I was so invested in it! It was an emotional read and the character development was just so lovely and had you feeling all the different emotions!

Although this isn’t the usual kind of book I go for, I am so glad I did! A beautifully written story about love, forgiveness, addiction & loss.

This was a contemporary family saga, full of secrets, complicated relationships and grief. The two female main characters were neighbors, single mothers, and best friends. I felt all the feels and emotions. This book does not deserve anything less than 5 stars.

Why has it taken me so long to read this?
This book is beautiful. The characters are compellingly realistic and so well drawn. I cried, my heart was broken, fixed, broken again - I did not want it to end.
Cassie, you are an amazing writer and a really really wonderful human being!
