You know how sometimes you get it in your head that you want to read something outside of your usual selections? This was one of those books.

A very sad, dark and twisting story. It could have been more emotional, but I couldn't get in to the style it was written in. Short, jarring sentences left me skimming the pages, rather than digging in to the story.

Oh well, you win some, you lose some, when you dive in to the unknown.

Hated the alt lit writing style but the storytelling was brutal and  heartbreaking, nearly had me in tears.
