The White family has always spent Christmas together at Honeysuckle Cottage, so when Rosie calls with the announcement of her impending nuptials on Christmas Eve in Aspen, the family is shocked. Maggie & Nick arrive harbouring a secret they've kept from their daughters for months, but have vowed to play a part to avoid ruining the wedding. Katie, Rosie's older and overly protective sister, is holding onto a secret of her own, and arrives bound and determined to put a stop to the wedding. As the wedding approaches secrets are revealed, leading to a Christmas they will never forget.

Sarah Morgan has delivered a cast of likeable characters, an enchanting setting, cute banter, and cozy holiday vibes in this charming tale of family and love. The alternating perspectives offers an extra layer to the plot, and although predictable at times, the writing offers both heartwarming and hilarious scenes. Overall, this is a decent story but nothing special, and demonstrates the importance of not going it alone in life, and offered me a gentle escape from the realties of life.
