Overall, I did enjoy this book. It was a cute romance set in the regency period, where the ladies decide to take a stand after finding out they have been listed in a bachelor's directory without their consent.

It was a fun book, and would recommend to any one looking for a low stakes, cosy read. I do think that there were maybe too many side plots and characters, some of which could have been novels of their own. Its a shame that they were just background characters and didn't get a book all to themselves. However, I also felt like the main plot of The Ladies Rewrite The Rules was resolved too quickly,

as I was expecting a larger portion of the story to revolve around the discovery of the author of the list. I was anticipating this to be more of an enemies-to-lovers story, but there wasnt any real conflict or consequences as a result the directory.
