This book was incredible. It was so beautifully written and has me genuinely invested in the characters and their stories. The ending was so devastating, I nearly cried in public at the beach. It was so emotional and heartbreaking and more synonyms for IM SO SAD NOW. I am fully planning on writing a fanfic about this book so I can change the ending and make myself happy.

Really good way to understand deeper the thoughts of Adena and Mak during the trials! I tandem read this with Powerless, and it added more emotion to the storyline. I don’t think the book would flow as good if read on its own, but still an amazing book!
