This book is arguably better than Fellowship but I just want to know if Mr Tolkien knew that he could write short chapters?

Also, I freakin love Gollum/Smeagol, truly an icon.

I listened to the dramatized version of the audiobook again and I loved it so much. I didn't enjoy this book as much as the last one but I still enjoyed it enough to finish the series.
