Yay, Colton finds love in this story. He has had a couple of flirtations throughout the series and it is finally his turn. You would think that Colton would have paid attention when his friends had relationship problems and maybe learned from their mistakes, but you would be wrong. I loved the ending and I am looking forward to reading more of Lyssa Kay Adams work in the future.
Cute rom-com story but it was a bit predictable and not in a way I enjoyed. Set during Christmas but not overly Christmas-y, which is what I was looking for. The ending didn’t do it for me though. No spoilers but it was unnecessarily dramatic IMO and then didn’t wrap up all the threads like I wanted.

I loved this addition to the Bromance series! Both Colton and Gretchen had many layers to unpack within themselves. But I must admit I really struggled with Gretchen at first, but she eventually grew on me. I loved the Christmas twists to this story and how it took a long time for these two characters to truly fall in love. Of course, the other members of the Bromance Book Club and their wives were welcome additions to the story. All in all, another wonderful book to the series!
Grumpy/sunshine trope romance. Colton Wheeler gets his story told in this fifth installment in the Bromance Book Club series. I love how much these books subvert not only the usual romance tropes but masculinity generally. Set at Christmastime, this book features Colton (sunshine) and Gretchen (grump, hates Christmas) (briefly dated Mack) and the rest of the book club seems to fade into the distant background which I found a bit disappointing. Still it was a delight to read this on Christmas day.
