I loved everything about this book.. the main characters, the side characters, the plot, the romance. Just everything.
My god my heart hurt for Shannon, so badly. I started off this book wanting to marry joey after seeing him protect her. “I don’t even need to meet the MMC I want to marry Joey” Uhm actually Georgia you dipshit you do need to meet Johnny, and you’re going to want to marry him even more so eat your words. I mean I did still love Joey (up until near the end when I wanted to punch him in the face) but Johnny is something else. Give me the “look and her and you die” protective ass rugby player all day long.
The love I have for Gibsie is on a whole other level though, he’s hilarious and honestly I think he’s the best side character I’ve ever read about and I’ll marry him too if that’s okay thanks.
I could have honestly gone to jail for the things I’d do to Shannon’s parents (yes both of them) whilst I was reading. That’s thanks to the author for writing this book in a way where I felt so emotionally connected to the characters. When they laugh, I laugh. When they fume, I fume and when they cry… well I feel on the verge of tears
