Book #3 was frustrating for no reason… we all knew she’d pick Conrad and this whole book was like a train wreck. But, I can’t be too critical. I was just like Belly once, too.

I’ve always loved Jenny Han’s books, and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before remains one of my favorites. Her writing is warm, relatable, and easy to fall into, and I finished this book quickly.

That said, I was a bit disappointed with this final installment. I initially turned to the book because I found myself getting impatient and frustrated with the television adaptation, hoping the novel would offer a more satisfying experience. Unfortunately, it fell short for me.

For a third, and possibly final book in the trilogy, I expected more character growth and deeper development. While I enjoyed the presence of the Cousins Beach house and Taylor, the overall arc felt underwhelming.

The ending, in particular, left me dissatisfied. It was abrupt and lacked the narrative detail I had been hoping for. I closed the book wishing for just a bit more.
