This is a book that really sticks with you.

Harvey Swick doesn't think about consequences, he just goes away with a stranger in the spur of a moment. Mr. Hood's house though at first seeming like the perfect getaway proves to be just the opposite and Mr. Hood's plans aren't so glamorous.

A fast read that spins through like fairy tale. Reminiscent of Pinocchio in some ways.

I liked it a lot.

even though it kinda sounded like a children book, but i really enjoyed it. i like the twisted dark world Clive Barker illustrates in his novels. definitely my all time favorite horror author.
