The illustrations helped my imagination flows along, there are some creepy moments here and there,
The ending felt so resolved yet it left me with so many questions and theories and that's not a bad thing.

Read together with my 12 year old. Absolutely wonderful experience. The first half was great, but wow at the back 9.

For a kids horror type book it was pretty good. I would say it was pretty predictable at times, but that's the kids book feel. Interesting enough, not long, and clever. I'm not a fan of the protagonist being amazing and special for no real reason, so that's what knocked my rating down, but I don't think that would stop me from recommending it.
