This is my second or third time time through Oedipus' masterpiece. It's a great play, provided you go into with a little bit of knowledge--watch a few YouTube intros to Greek Drama, if you're new to it. I can't say much without spoiling it. At the same time, unless you're living under a rock, you will know the basic idea from Freud's "Oedipus Complex" and other sources. I enjoyed the interplay between the chorus (as the voice of Thebes) and the actors on stage. And the ontological debate about life being fate vs chance. It's really a cornerstone of western literature. It's also short and--in the right translation--easy to understand.
