Really good again. This time they are after a succubus who seems to be working with the political representatives that are against paranormally gifted persons. They not only want them registered, as they are now, but contained, want SPECTR to be part of Homeland Security and out of the paranormals hands. Who is being controlled? John and Caleb need to figure this out at the same time as Caleb is being tested by R&D (research and development).

The first two books in this series were enjoyable, but hadn't quite caught my interest. I wasn't totally sure I was going to continue reading until I picked up this book for a reading challenge. For whatever reason, this was the book that pushed me over the edge and got me invested in the characters and story. I really liked seeing the overarching plot of the series develop and grow more complicated. The best part of the book, though, was the development of the central relationships between John, Caleb, and Grey. Very well done. I'm anticipating finding out where the series goes from here!

John, Caleb, and Gray continue to be very likable, interesting characters and the growing relationship among them is fabulous, though this book felt like less happened in it than other books in the series so far

The only thing I would like to be different is that I wish it were longer. Love Caleb and Grey and will wait impatiently for the next installment.

Absolutely loving this series!

The novella format is great. The stories manage to pack a punch in such a short amount of pages. I'm glad I get to read them one after another :)

I enjoy John and Caleb's relationship, however I feel as if it's moved pretty fast. I wish they would have withheld exchanging 'I Love You's' for a bit of extra angst.

Grey is becoming much more prominant and I cant wait to see where the relationship is going. Can it be called a thruple if two of the people inhabit the same body?

Reread. I had previously given this book five stars, but upon reread I'm dropping it to four. Still very fun! A quick read that doesn't really let up at any point. As I've mentioned in other reviews, I tend to think of the six books in the first part of this series as one large book, because the plot is connected in all of them. It makes it a little harder to judge each one individually. Alone, this novella could have benefitted from a slower pace and slightly more development, but as part of a whole, some really good character work happens here, and the stakes are raised. I liked it!

The stakes are climbing ever higher and higher. The passions and deep dark secrets are becoming more vivid. The government is closing in.

The continuation of this book series is great and makes me want to read more and more. I have enjoyed this series immensely. The action and adventure are wonderfully paced. The romance is hot and the characters become more and more real. It will be interesting and entertaining to see where the story continues from here.

I would recommend this book to any that like male male romance and paranormal activities. Great that they are quick and interesting reads.

I didn't enjoy this part as much as the others, but I still liked it.

I think Gray belongs to my top ten book characters, I simply can't get enough of him. But I've come to like Caleb more and more, especially because he begins to think and reflect more.

Sadly the love between John and Caleb (and Gray?) feels a little bit forced and way too fast. But I'm a sucker for slow-building romance, so...

Anyway, I found this case's idea very interesting, but the case itself wasn't that great. Still good, but not as good as it could have been. It is realistic, though. If there were such things as incubi and the like (maybe there are?).

Oh, these stories are getting better and better! And I love the way the story is evolving, how the characters are learning and changing and growing.

And oh, John and Grey? *shudders* We are heading to some strange kind of menage even if there are only two bodies involved, are we? But I love the connection between the three of them.

And Gray! Gray is probably one of my favourite characters ever. So complex, a mix of wise and naive, ancient and so powerful... I love him.

The SPECTR arc is getting more and more close to a climax, I can feel it.

And Brad Langer is amazing! I love his narration! Oh, shees! I need to keep listening, I'll be back in a bit :P
