I was so eager to dive into this book, but now that I’m done, I have to admit I only really enjoyed the second half or a few chapters here and there. I’m glad I can finally say I’ve read it, but overall, I’m left unsatisfied. The main characters just didn't hold my interest and the story gradually turned dull and lifeless. Absolutely adored the last chapter, though. And that’s that. 乁⁠[⁠ ⁠◕⁠ ⁠ᴥ⁠ ⁠◕⁠ ⁠]⁠ㄏ

I lost interest the SECOND they both died

I liked only four things in this book:

1. The wee gay bois admitting their love for each other on a mountain
2. Achilles calling patrocles his husband
3. The almighty son of Zeus breaking his own fucking neck falling off a horse (I’m still laughing)
4. Achilles going FERAL after the love of his life died
