Ever experienced the need for a 'cry break'? I hadn't until this book came along. There was a moment where I simply had to set it down and let the tears flow. It's an absolutely delightful read; I adored every moment of it. Hands down, it's the finest book I've ever encountered. It encapsulates everything I crave in a story: longing, love, grief—all masterfully penned. A solid 10/10 from me; I'd give anything to experience the feeling of reading it anew :)

I was glued to this one, the pages flew by! What a beautiful love story. It captured something real and relatable. It was romantic and didn't make excuses - it respected the love felt between the two min characters and all of its many complications. What a great addition to a well known story.

I read this book in a matter of hours and was hooked immediately. The writing was really good and I fell in love with Patroclus immediately. I would’ve rated higher if Achilles had been a more redeeming character, even though I know it’s kind of the point. Overall I felt like this was a beautiful book that I’ve thought about many times since I read it. Very memorable and definitely lives up to the hype.
