i was scared i was gonna hate the ending. it had me in the first half when pyrrhus showed up and the fear that patroclus would truly be denied the dignity he deserved in death was looming over. but thankfully, i was relieved.
this was such a good book. I know it’s a retelling of the prexisting greek mythos but as a hades enjoyer, i was thinking of that version of these two and how reading this felt like the prequel to their arc in the game. the yearning and grief were everything :’)
