3.5/5 stars. I enjoyed reading this but it wasn't a 5 star, unforgettable, sobbing on the floor kind of novel for me. Patroclus was just such a bland character to me that I was never really invested. Also how do you have a novel about Achilles without mentioning the river Styx and his heel being vulnerable?

The book didn't make me cry, which honestly surprised me; because I cry over everything.

I think the fact that everyone said that so made my expectations for the book very high. But I think about this book. A lot. And that alone, in my mind, is a book that deserves 5-stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
