This book was heartbreaking and lovely and so completely enveloping. I was so sad about the ending but at the same time, I love it overall. I only rated it 4/5 because I was heartbroken by the ending and there were parts that I felt dragged on unnessesarily. I was fascinated by how Miller connected a piece of history with a story that felt all fantastical. Worth the read.
I cried silently in my bed at 4am when I finished it.
