This book taught me that equality of outcomes is only possible when people have no choices. Everyone has the same life: same milestones, same hairstyle, same clothing, same number of children, same presents every year... and that world is not Utopia.

ROSEMARY. WHAT. So if the giver loves Jonas the same way he loved Rosemary, does that mean Jonas may be his biological kid? My outlandish theories are 100% fueled by my romantasy kick. .

ANYWAYS, this was a banger. The book truly doesn't hold weight if you don't do anything with it, so go hug a tree and kick some rocks and make good and bad memories with loved ones.
