There are valuable insights, but I also feel that he is retroactively justifying what today we would consider an abusive teaching practice and advocating for a type of body determinism? I liked some insights, but overall I did not enjoy it all that much? But I only read the first few chapters for class so maybe it gets better or there is some nuance I missed.
