Spoiler: Having your main character time travel so they can go back and accidentally save their pedophile father and phyco murderer sister from facing any consequences while also having everyone of your their friends die in the process was definitely a choice.

The ending made up for the beginning for me with all the twists. I was a little confused with the timeline and what was happening at times (probably just because the author was trying to misdirect us and lead us to thinking something else), but did enjoy the horror/thriller aspect. I did NOT like the last chapter and in some ways feel like that ruined the time travel and didn't quite wrap up the book well and there were some things that needed more explanation. The few chapters before the last one were twisty and fun and I didn't predict who the killer was until the very end!
