Gut wrenching emotions and ugly girl crying will ensue when read this book! This is a beautiful story about friendship, love, death, forgiveness, living and feeling. The author wrote a refreshingly honest and raw book. It flows seamlessly through the plot. The characters are tangible and relatable in their actions and thoughts. This book will tear at your soul and make you think hard. You will be drawn to the plight and honor the characters have. I loved this book from start to finish. Absolutely one of the best books I have read this year!

2.5 stars. Rushed and a bit unrealistic. Also, transparent. I wanted to love it but it was just okay.

Super sweet

Such a sweet story. Emotions and desire were felt without being overly sexual. A great feel-good book. I would recommend.

I read this book in one evening. Could not put it down other then to get more tissues. I wanted an ugly cry book (sometimes you just need that release) and this book did it. It broke my heart. The writing allowed you to feel the emotions of each character. I liked that you read the story from each of their pov I think that made the story flushed out. My eyes were puffy for days after reading it. Warning read this in the comfort of home and not in public. I love how versatile Missy Johnson's body of work is. One thing you be sure of with her work is you will not be disappointed.
