Hat ein bisschen gedauert, in den Erzählstil reinzukommen, aber das ist es wert. Eine Geschichte über newyorker high Society, eine dysfunktionale Ehe und haufenweise toxische zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen. Die Konversationen tun teilweise wirklich weh, aber ich bin begeistert, wie gut Personen und Szenen beschrieben werden können. Klare Empfehlung.

Just goes to show not all happy endings are the happiest they can be and I love that. This was such an interesting plot exploring the butterfly effect people can have on their surrounded loved ones. It coincides with my belief that a soulmate is not always just the person you spend your life romantically with, but someone who came into your life altered your soul to the person you are today, sometimes for the better; and sometimes for the worse. I do recommend reading about the trigger warnings before picking up this book, as it is not a light read and focuses on some very dark subjects. This book will forever be placed in my reread pile.

Ja chyba nie jestem stworzona do czytania książkę tego typu. Przez całą lekturę byłam tylko zdenerwowana zachowaniami bohaterów i przebodźcowana ilością różnych perspektyw.
Nie rozumiem dlaczego ta książka była pisana przez 7 lat, kiedy niektóre historie na wattpadzie mają więcej sensu niż to.
