I really enjoyed this zombie apocalypse story! Tori is such a good person, taking Jay and Daisy with her when the world fell apart had to be so hard. But she did it and then lived with them for years. Daisy is awful, seriously. She reminds me of Emery from the Sanctuary series, though she’s not quite as bad lol. This is pretty fast burn. Micah and Nathan are great guys, and sweet Calix comes so far. They are all attracted to Tori, and her to them immediately. There are some great steamy scenes, some heartbreaking moments, and a lot of wonderful friend and family relationships. All in all, I highly recommend!

Fast burn, why choose, zombie apocalypse romance. I was down as soon as I realized that's what this was, and even the fast burn didn't keep me from finishing it. The story was cute with some predictable moments (and one disappointingly obvious moment I wish didn't happen). I want more post apocalyptic why choose novels in my life.

Note to self: the OW drama is with the FMC's ex's GF, not with the current MMCs' anything.

This was an easy and quick read. It moved a little too quickly for my taste, especially considering all that happened. The writing was pretty mediocre overall but I enjoyed the plot and characters. It definitely suffered from a lot of telling and not nearly enough showing which would have made certain moments have more impact and tension.

I wish I would have gotten more from this book, it definitely had a lot of potential.

huh who knew I would actually enjoy zombie apocalypse survivor romance?
This why choose romance was a 'let's cuddle on the couch together' cute. Even with the zombie apocalypse.
Sadly I skimmed over the smut since that just didn't stand out to me.... Loved the zombie twist though!

Lyra always writes great characters the females are always badasses and the men are always so sweet and hot and the spice was good too it was a 2
