Bilbo's last song as he bids farewell to middle earth. The illustrations in this book were amazing. A must buy for Tolkien fans.

Very short lyrical book, beautifully illustrated with fairy-tale style illustrations. Not sure what age of kiddo this is intended for, but I wonder if the little ones will understand the language -- it includes lots of words like moorings, ere, utmost, harbour-bar, havens, blest, etc. It also has an awful lot of footnotes for such a short book! Still, if you just want to introduce your child to Tolkien, this is probably a good way to start.

Gorgeous illustrations and a beautiful ending to Bilbo’s story.
One line in particular hurt for its sad meaning:
“Lands there are to west of West,
where night is quiet and sleep is rest.”

En kort og overskuelig tilføjelse til Ringenes Herre - og med smukke illustrationer til. ❤️
