emotional lighthearted

Cute enough, but not a ton happened, and there were fewer fish than I would have liked for an aquarium theme. Pretty generic. The salamander was cute, though. I would have liked either more interpersonal action, or more aquatic critters.

Nemo???

So this was sweet. I really enjoyed the look we got into both characters' heads and I felt that I connected with them well. I gave it 3 stars because while I really enjoyed it it didn't blow me away and I didn't immediately have to buy the next volume. I will read it because I want to see where the story goes and it'll be interesting to see how their relationship develops. The art was gorgeous!

Cute

This was so cute, can’t wait to pick up the next one.

This gave me very similar vibes to Bloom Into You. The main love interest is a popular girl who is known for being kind and smart and the protagonist joins the same club. I thought it was cute but the crush felt very instant and it would've been nice to have seen it more drawn out. I would continue the series, but it didn't impact me enough for me to be excited about it.

Also if I had a yen for every manga I've read that featured a romantic moment at the aquarium I'd have enough to buy a salamander.

Solid 3.5
I enjoyed A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow. Both heroines were likable and relatable. The romance - or what I think will be a romance - develops quickly and has a bit of feel of insta-love, but I assume that will be explained in future volumes. The setting of a school aquarium club is fun and unusual.
I am curious to see how things continue.
