Best one so far!!! But honestly this book is like 1.5 a 2 stars objectively. But it both fits and enhances the reading mood, and I'm honestly intrigued about what the world beyond the rift is like.

I know the Apocalypse is happening, and all kinds of crazy stuff is going on. Yet, even then, does it not seem odd for a woman to randomly have sex with some strange, chained dragon-man because she’s been told that that is the only way to save him?

And let us not get into why she feels a need to save this random stranger minutes after meeting him.

This book is about the apocalypse. Gore, dragons, murder and at-the-edge-of-survival kind of stuff, yet 75% of the book was all about achieving domestic bliss.

I mean someone else might like it. Someone who possibly prefers cuddling and long talks over crazy survival tactics and tension during an apocalypse story.

How can a book about the goddamn apocalypse be so boring?

*sighs*
