Like The Last House on Needless Street, I devoured this one and am left high on adrenaline by the end. It's a messed up story about mothers, daughters, and sisters and the ties that bind and break them. The twists are inspired and brutal, showing that sometimes (always) People are the biggest monster to fear.

I really don't understand the high ratings of this book at all. I tried so hard to get into it, hoping that it would get better, but it just didn't. It was just terribly boring and hard to understand at times. Literally could not read it without instantly falling asleep. This was my first DNF of 2024.
