This series of essays feel more like history, memoir and social commentary all packed into one. It was fine. Honestly, I think listening to the audiobook was my main problem. While interesting, the essays didn’t have a lasting impact, mostly because I listened to them back to back. Looking back, I wish I had physically read it or taken breaks between each one to let them soak a little.
