I LOVED this book. I read Beach Read and People you meet on vacation last year and this one is infinitely better. So cute, the perfect amount of romance and conflict, and the perfect ending.

3.5 rounded up. I definitely feel like an outlier because I liked this book but didn't love it. I enjoyed the banter between the main characters, the story line about the sisters, and the fact that this book is written for book lovers. I also really liked the ending and thought the book wrapped up nicely.
However, the story moved very slowly for me at points. The build up of the romance at the beginning was great but my interest in Charlie and Nora's love story fizzled out by 70% into the book. The story played out in a way that was a bit predictable. Overall, I see why people love this book, especially people who love the romance genre, and I think it would make for a great movie/ TV adaptation.

Emily Henry is officially my favorite author of rom-com style books. The witty banter, the characters, and mostly ALL the warm fuzzies. Just *chef’s kiss*

So glad I gave this another chance!
Nora and Charlie both being black cat x black cat trope instead of either being golden retriever, beautiful!!!
