SO SAPPY MY GOD. honestly i liked the movie more, made me more sad than the book. the author writes like a man, “her breasts warmed from his words” dawg what the hell r u talking bout. but overall, noah love of my life everytime he spoke i thought of ryan gosling and went feral. love. i finished this on a plane!

I thought that this would be as emotionally charged as "A Walk to Remember", but it just wasn't. Perhaps that's because I've already watched the movie, but I don't think so. The movie was mapped out in a way that made more sense than the book. Additionally, the oversaturated sappiness of the book takes away from the beauty of Allie and Noah's relationship. However, their relationship with nature seemed to be more heavily emphasized in the book, which I enjoyed. Overall though, the movie was better.

For some reason it took me a really long time to finish this book. I don't know I just couldn't get into it. But it was a very nice love story. As with most Nicholas Sparks novels--I could take it or leave it.
