Quick easy read which was nice. No shade to Mr. Sparks but the movie was 1000x better than this book. Was kinda surprised how different the movie is but still an enjoyable read

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks is a really touching story about love. I recommend it if you like love stories and realistic fiction. This book is probably better if you are 13 or 14 and up because there are some scenes that are mature. I really loved this book and I read it really fast because it was so good. Definitely try this book if you want something different to read because I loved it and so will you.
Ugh, I loved the movie but the book just didn't do it for me. I liked how they left a little bit of mystery in the movie. I'll never read another Nicholas Sparks after this.

The Notebook is written with passion and tenderness. It presents hope and gives you a beautiful look over a beautiful relationship. Parts off the book are very unrealistic and too-good-to-be-true. Other parts are very emotionally hard to go through. The differences between Noah and Allie, both economically, status-wise and personally is interesting and strengthening to read about. It's overall a simple lovestory, but such a beautiful one.
Moderate: Sexual content, Grief, Death of parent
To be quite honest this book is just bad. I couldn’t feel sorry for Allie because she was the one making the decisions that made her unhappy. I have read books that have done a similar story better. The writing of this book is just terrible and you can tell it is a male writer writing a woman’s pov.
I can see why this book was popular at its height, it just isn’t good. The movie is probably better since it has good actors in it. Go for that instead don’t pick this up.
