I really loved the broken characters. And the story, but the for some reason I couldn’t get into the story that Penny was writing? I just felt kinda bothered by it when I just wanted to spend more time with the characters.

*update: I initially marked this as 4 stars but I have knocking it down to 3.5

TW: rape

I listened to this on audio, and I sped through it. This was really addictive! While I gave it 4 stars, I think that's a low 4 stars, simply because this is more of a guilty pleasure read in my opinion. I think the details of the story will fade very easily from my mind, but I will overall remember enjoying my time listening to this book.

That being said, I think a lot of people are going to enjoy reading this. It's just not a book that you will continue thinking about weeks after reading it, in my opinion.

First time reading a novel in a while. I enjoyed it! But the ending felt a little abrupt. Or maybe just the pacing in general was a little strange. But mb I'm just not used to reading rn.

I’m giving this 3.5 stars. The relationship between Penny and Sam is adorable and I love how they can tell each other everything and that they were their emergency contacts through all the shitty things. The pace was a bit slow for me, but it made me laugh a lot.
