I was excited when I received this book in the mail. Even though I don’t read a lot of books like this, I wanted to read this one. And I loved it.
It was a easy fun read. If you like Christmas movies, I think you would love this book.
This book is perfect for the holidays. It’s a heartwarming story on several levels. Families reconnecting, friends together for important events, and love. I would love to see it as a series to see how things continue with the characters.

The cover of this book just screams Christmas romance, it's the first thing that drew me in and after reading the synopsis I knew this book was for me. This is the perfect festive story it has it all. Heartbreak, family, friends and of course a new romantic partner.

This is the first book my Katlyn Duncan that I have read and I know i'll be reading more in the future!

Wrapped Up for Christmas is a cute novel to read this Christmas. The main character is Angie, who returns home to the East Coast after breaking up with her boyfriend (and boss) in California. She then meets Nick and feels like her luck is about to change. This book definitely puts you in the festive mood, as they pick a Christmas tree, go to the local tree lighting ceremony and more. The only downside was that the writing style wasn't my cup of tea. I felt it could have been more show versus tell. However, if your ideal book reads like a Hallmark Christmas movie, Wrapped Up for Christmas is the novel for you.

I received an ARC through NetGalley but all opinions are my own.

Wrapped Up For Christmas is a charming, feel good, Christmas romance. A book about second chances and family, about serving others, and how sometimes the hardest things in life lead us to the right paths. This was the perfect book to curl up with in front of the fire on a snowy night. It’s a cozy read that will definitely put you in the Christmas spirit! Thank you the the publisher for the free review copy in exchange for my honest review.

I got this book cheap in the Kindle store, and it was okay, but I'm not sure I loved it.  First, there were more typos than I like to see in an ebook - enough to average out to one every chapter, probably - and that pulled me out of the narrative a bit.  After the book was over, I realized that the writer may or may not have been British, so maybe the wrong preposition or the dropped articles in a phrase were just me reading for American English and the writer writing in British English, but since the book takes place in the U.S., I didn't expect such a difference.

I also read this book in the summer time, when I was dealing with a lot of stress in my life and needed an escape.  Although I felt a bit of the excitement and joy that comes with Christmas, it was hard to really get into it, to lose myself in that magical time of year, so maybe that's another reason why I didn't really love this book.

Finally, I liked Angie and Nick's individual personal experiences (backstory) and their family challenges, and how those turned out meshing well with each other, although you didn't see it initially.  For example, both Angie and Nick had things they have to deal with to "heal" themselves from the beginning of the book to make them more open and ready to accept each other for the happy ever after.  Their happy ever after was sweet, but for readers that are hoping for a little more explicit romance / sex - this is not the book for you.

A terrific Christmas story! It's the perfect size for a quick, Christmas read. It has all the joyous feels and the characters are believable.

This is the perfect romantic, feel-good holiday (CLEAN!) read!

There was so much to love about this story. Not only is our main couple absolutely adorable, I have a giant soft spot for these side characters! Angie's grandparents are the BEST. I love their banter and their little interjections into the story of Angie's life. Her best friend is fabulous! She is the perfect best friend for this kind of story. I loved watching her try to help Angie navigate her love life while also growing a human. Nick's brother was a wonderful character and I really liked his addition.

Nick's family dynamic was . . . interesting. It's fairly typical of this style of book, there's always an estrangement but I like where this one ended at the wrap-up. It wasn't an "everything's perfect" kind of ending and I appreciated that.

The plot in this was the perfect amount of feel-good that you need at Christmas time. The way Angie was able to figure out how to help someone in need and help others as well, at the same time was just really great.

This book definitely made me ready for the holiday's and I was super happy to have picked it up! I don't read a lot of adult contemporary feel-good romance so this was a little out of my element, but I did really enjoy it.

Cover 4; Characters 4; Plot 4; Pace 5; Writing 4; Enjoyment 5.

In full transparency I do know this author via youtube, but I did purchase this book with my own funds.

After Angie loses her boyfriend and her job, she has no choice but to back to her hometown and nurse her broken heart within the comfort of her childhood home whilst looking for a new job and new life. To keep herself busy Angie finds herself working at the mall that she worked at as a teenager helping Christmas shoppers with any last minute shopping woes they may have. It is here where she meets Nick who she is instantly attracted to but the secrets he chooses to keep may backfire on their relationship.

This book was cute and adorable. I enjoyed the Christmas spirit and loved that it took place in the mall for the majority of the book. Unfortunately, this book harboured two of the tropes that I dislike the most in romance novels: insta-love and fallout due to miscommunication.

Angie and Nick barely knew each other before falling so fast in love and then breaking up just as fast. The break up was depicted with such great anguish you would think these two characters had been together for five odd years. I could feel the spark between the two characters but it was not nearly fleshed out enough for me to believe the magnitude of their love for each other.

All the obstacles that occurred between these two was due to miscommunication. I truly despise this trope and wish it was banned from all romance novels. It portrayed the characters as juvenile and immature making for an eye-roll of story at some parts, which is disappointing because I truly enjoyed the minimal flirt and spark that these two had with each other.
