Rereading through Austen’s books. This is probably my least favorite, but even then it is utterly delightful.

sad to say that this book is my least favourite out of all the other jane austen books ive read. i love love love her writing style but this felt a bit lacking.
also i couldn't see any chemistry between the leads as is famous in other of her books. i could relate to both of the sisters and their bond is something that i loved the most in this book.
other than that it was fine.

She didn't even try to be subtle about her social commentary in this one. She did some excellent and, dare I say, slaying observations.

I expected a more lighter read, but got social commentary. The writing style also made it feel rather dense.
Therefore only three stars.

3.5 stars. Doesn't exceed Pride and Prejudice.

When I first read it, I was Marianne, then when I got older I related more and more to Elinor.
