Tessa Bailey strikes again. This time, it’s with a vampire that falls in love with a human girl that is also a mortician… and they meet when he wakes up as the next dead body on her table.

I think my new favorite niche genre is reading paranormal romances written by traditionally contemporary romance authors. They have all the fluff of contemporary romance but also witches and werewolves and vampires.

So if you enjoyed Bride by Ali Hazelwood or The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson, you should read this. Seriously, I didn’t even know Tessa Bailey wrote paranormal romance. Watch me go read the other 2 books in this series now…

A little fast, would have loved the backstory to have been drawn out a bit more. A smutty, short Twilight knockoff is always fun to read, though!

I feel so guilty for loving a vampire romance, but I loved this book. It did feel like it wrapped up quickly. I felt it could have been longer honestly. It had so much back story it could have dived into. The whole story of she was his first mate basically reincarnated could have had a whole separate 100 pages explaining their past life and how she died and came back. Now I want to go read all Tessa Bailey books because the writing was great although she did mention in the acknowledgements that this is not her typical story which makes me wonder if I’d like her others as much. I did notice a lot of grammatical errors which did take away from the story some. Nonetheless, it was still a great book. Now, I have 45 books of hers left to read

This is now one of my favorite vampire romance books. It was hot, exiting, and Bailey did a few different things with the usual vampire lore. Ginny and Jonas are such a mismatched pair, but it absolutely works. I devoured it in two days and would read again!

My first Tessa Bailey book and hopefully not my last. I found Ginny to be sweet and quirky and I loved her optimism. Jonas was adorable at times, sweet at others and frustrating too. I was glad to see that Ginny didn't let him push her around and helped him understand "comprise". Especially when he was being "a high-handed vampire". He was just trying to help and makes things better, but he has been out of touch with humans and given his age, position in the overall hierarchy and personality type he missed a few steps.

I found Reborn Yesterday to be sweet, quick read and what I needed. It could be a bit campy at times, but I loved the romance, friendship and optimism. I am planning on reading the rest of the series.

Reminded me of twilight but cheesy and I absolutely loved this. It was a quick and easy fun read. Perfect for fall time I think. It was cozy. Highly recommend!
