Sigh I wanted to like this way more then I did. The whole plot and characters are everything I usually love, but for some reason I just didn’t connect with this. The one thing that made this a little more worth it to me was Tucker and Roksana because they made me laugh.

I enjoyed Tessa Bailey's take on a vampire romance. This is the first in a trilogy and focuses on Ginny and Jonas, who meet when Jonas' friends prank him and leave him at a funeral home when he's sleeping (he's the vamp). Ginny is immediately attracted to him and Jonas is similarly attracted to her but isn't supposed to spend time with humans, but find he can't help himself. There is tension due to Ginny finding herself in several life threatening situations, which end up being because of someone in Jonas' life.
Moderate: Kidnapping, Death of parent, and Stalking
Ginny experiences a few incidents of kidnapping which end up in life threatening events. She also mentions her father's death (which happens before the start of the book).
