This book is out of my comfort zone and not something I would normally pick up. That being said, about 1/3 of the way in, it stopped being as fluffy and delved a little bit more into the mental health of the main character, which I found relatable and interesting.

There were a lot of tropes that I'm not a fan of throughout, and the ending tied up a little too neat considering the mental health of the protagonist. However, it was an enjoyable read that actually gave me some feels.

This was kind of like listening to your friend make all the worst decisions she could possibly make and not being able to do anything about it until she realizes for herself she needs to make a change. Also, oh my god, some of this dialogue was SO hard to swallow. Penny was the most millennial of millennials to exist in this book. I hope I never read "bestie for the restie" in a book ever again. That being said, I did chuckle more than I'd like to admit while reading it. Don’t know if it was from the cringe or being actually funny though.
