In true Cora Rose fashion, Diablo was ridiculous but in the BEST way. He’s a little psycho and I loved him.

The relationship development was unique to say the least but honestly I totally bought into it.

This book is laugh out loud funny, and I enjoyed every minute of it. And although some of the D/s dynamic wasn’t super realistic it didn’t feel like it was pretending to be.

Please check trigger warnings before reading as this book contains dub con/CNC.

This was fun. Diablo is the son of a mobster and when he gets himself into trouble, his father goes feral and demands he go into hiding with his bodyguard Skylar. Skylar is not impressed with Diablo’s attitude and his complete childishness as Diablo throws tantrums like a child, Skylar reacts right back and soon the punishments aren’t really punishments at all.

Reasons I Recommend:

1) Diablo is a bit intense and a complete brat

2) Mobster dad also makes him a bit of a psycho with a good heart and

3) Skylar is the protective bodyguard who isn’t going to take Diablo’s shit.
