After finishing Elle Mae’s Blood Bound series and loving it, I wanted to check out some more of her novels- and I’m so glad I did!
The Price Of Silence is everything I needed in a queer urban fantasy romance! The plot and characters hooked me from the jump, but I got a good sense of who the main character Rosie was before the action got going.
The way Elle Mae writes sapphic romance and sex is a breath of fresh air. Yes, the characters’ sexual tension is immaculate and their smut scenes are smoking hot- but they also act like real people. I think that’s where The Price of Silence truly shines. The character’s longing, fears, and desires on the page are relatable in such a human way.
That’s why I’ll be heading back to Winterfell Academy for book 2!

I felt like I was reading a 14 year old’s story on wattpad. I’m having werewolf wattpad flashbacks from when I was a teenager. It was giving, my-life-sucks-and-I’m-miserable-no-one-likes-me-but-every-hot-character-thirsts-after-me. It just wasn’t worth the ‘why-choose’ I was promised

I think I loved everything about this book. The spicy scenes never bored me, there was always a perfect amount of tension that fit the characters. The plot and the story really hooked me though and I can't wait to read the next one.

Something different than what I usually read, but I love RH’s & this one has women in the harem too??!!! Yes please. I’m enjoying the story so far, though I am confused on some parts, but I think it’s more my error than the writing itself. Starting book 2 now!!
