If you love sexiest books this is for you! Celibate loser doormat heroine. Douche Cocky Manwhore. Oh and she's celibate for almost two decades pining for him while he fucks anything with a vagina. So romantic! I love when my heroines are chaste and pure never letting another dick touch them while he makes his way through all the holes in town and laughs about it. I guess women wanting sex and intimacy is so very wrong that only skanks long for it! Do yourself a favour and pass on this shit.

I absolutely adore this book. Melanie and Corinne together are absolutely amazing. Loved every second. Want to read it again. They need to write more books together. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book is the beautiful baby of two of my favorite authors. With Melanie and Corinne working together the only outcome is genius! Hold You Close is the perfect blend. This book shows you how to forgive and learn to live despite the past! Every day is not guaranteed so there is no sense in living with regrets! I love you book!!!

Life As We Know It
If you’ve seen the movie, you know the correlation. If you haven’t seen the movie, read this first, THEN go drool over Josh Duhamel

Melanie Harlow is a first for me and I haven’t read Corinne Michaels in a few years but after reading Hold You Close, that’s all about to change.
Everything about this book is perfection. The frustration, the sadness, the sexiness, the fun times and even the misunderstandings, the love for family...truly everything. I laughed, I cried, I was so angry I wanted to throw the damn Kindle across the room. I felt everything that Ian and London were going through and this story held me captive from begin to end. I didn’t know where one author started and the other finished, every word flowed so seamlessly.
I am a sucker for a good second chance romance but this wasn’t just good. It was more along the lines of wonderful. Incredible. Stunning. In my opinion, Hold You Close is hands down THE BEST second chance romance I’ve read this year.

Heartache and beautiful ❤️
Ian Chase is the best friend’s older brother. During her senior year, London Parish finally got her chance with Ian, they exchanged I love yous, only for him to break her heart the next day. Needless to say, they spent the next 17 years hating each other and fighting. Tragedy forced them to move past that.
It’s not very often I read a book where an author hurts my heart so early, but the first 25% of the book is that. I can tell something beautiful is brewing, but my heart had to get through the tough parts to get there. Feels a lot like life doesn’t it? The heartache Melanie Harlow and Corinne Michaels wrote is worth it, because this story is really wonderful. The growth of these characters through a terrible and tragic time was beautiful. I loved the sacrifice and love these two showed throughout the book. What a great story and collaboration between two fantastic authors.

These are new authors to me and I will be checking out their other books! This book has all the things, tear jerking moments, steamy moments and moments that will make your heart flutter. I love London and her banter with Ian. This is a second chance romance that will have you turning each page to see what will happen next. I really enjoyed this book and hope these two write together again!
