You guys. I bawled for like 70% of this book. I love Jamie and Wes so much. I hate that they were closeted for like half of this book, but then you realize exactly what Wes was worried about actually happened - AND it makes a point for his choice. I'm not saying it was the right choice, but the backlash was terrible and at the worst possible moment. I'm just thankful these two figured their stuff out. I would have been devastated if it didn't. It seemed like for a minute it was heading that way. Wes couldn't make his circle smaller. That guy just had such a small support group that losing Jamie and his family would have been world ending.
I also want to go on blast and say Ryan Wesley's parents suck. Not that they were in this much... but they're a point of outrage.
I also grew to love their obnoxious neighbor/teammate Blake and I shouted with glee when I found out he got his own book in Good Boy. I will happily consume that story. I spoiled it a tad when I made it through Epic, but let's be real... if you read this and heard what was going on in Jamie's fever dream with the Chuaweiler, we knew what was going on. That poor chair didn't even have a condom on. The audacity.
Anyway, would I recommend this. 100%. Do you recall me saying I bawled for like 70% of this book. That means it did it's job. I like a book that makes me cry. And if it's a hockey romance between two dudes - COME ON. Give me more. The spice in this and it's predecessor was hot.

SWOON!! These. two. are. perfect!!! Sarina Bowen killed it again! After being soooooo happy with the first novel, I was scared to see what was next in store for Wes and Jamie. But have no fear! These two are just as amazing as before!
In this novel things are beginning to get a little complicated for both Wes and Jamie. Being the rookie on the team is difficult enough so Wes and Jamie go back into the closet with their relationship. This is incredibly stressful considering they are both in a new city causing them to completely isolate themselves. Watching the two of them fight through these struggles was so heart wrenching but I loved how they continued to love each other through it.
If you read the first book you OBVIOUSLY need to jump in on this one! Both times I read it was in one sitting--I just COULD NOT put it down!!
