This lived up to the hype, and was one of the cutest love stories I’ve read in a bit. Bonus points for the female lead not having a career in writing or magazines.

Fun and cute. Like the sugary drinks Olive gets: you’ll drink the whole thing and want another one the next day, but it’s just mostly silly and sugary. Is it super substantial and deep? Nope. But did that stop me from reading it in two days? Also nope.

Loved the tropes. I LOVE a fake dating trope. And I loved that they talked about the trope in the book, love the self-awareness. But the 2 main characters felt a little cliche at times. Didn’t love the “he’s so big, she’s so small” in the sex scenes, 🙄 it felt like that’s how a man would write it, and aren’t we over that??

Adorable romance. Adam is an absolute masterpiece. There was not a single flaw about him, every word that came out of his mouth was the right thing to say in the sexiest way humanly possible. I had a mini mental breakdown after this book because no one loves me like Adam loves olive which is proof that this book DELIVERED.
