5⭐️ just casually one of the best romance books I’ve ever read (non-devastating edition)???

Dr. Adam Carlsen, you sir are not real bc I know tenured professors in biology are not really tall, jacked, and extremely attractive but whatever

I enjoyed this one more than Deep End! But maybe not as much as Bride. Overall, I liked the Love Hypothesis. I found Olive and Adam to be likable characters, and their dynamic was fun. I was thrown for a loop with the conflict halfway through the book, so that is what bumped this up to 4 stars for me. Otherwise, it was a pretty standard romance in my opinion, but still fun. I also enjoyed the academic setting, because while I’m not a grad student nor do I work in a lab, I do work in higher education, so it was fun to see the “behind the scenes” of the field. It also all felt, unfortunately, accurate to me. Will continue to pick up Ali’s books in the future!
