4.5

Let’s start off by saying I usually don’t pick up contemporary romance novels because I get a little, well, squeamish during certain scenes and often they have me cringe quite a bit. However, the demisexual representation in The Love Hypothesis greatly reduced those unpleasant side effects for me and I have to admit I enjoyed this one a lot. I love the supportive friendships in this story too (although you should probably not resort to fake dating a guy so your friend can feel better about herself; or maybe you should, who knows, read this book and decide for yourself what to do with that fictional info).

It gets a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5 out of 5) rating from me because it had me rooting for the main characters and some parts made me audibly cheer them on. It’s wholesome, it made me happy and I devoured it in two days/sittings.
