My second Ali Hazelwood book—despite rating both in the 3-star range, I must admit they were very pleasant reads! I found both somewhat derivative but also quite fun and silly; great low-commitment books to bring me out of a reading rut.

I wanted to be a hater but sadly, I did enjoy it.
It was pretty predictable at times, the amount of times it was mentioned Adam was tall, and had broad shoulders and he towered over Olive (33) was overkill tbh, and at some parts I was genuinely thinking "what the fuck" because the things happening or the way Ms Hazelwood described things was very weird, but it kept me hooked and I had a good time regardless.

It was a good book. I really enjoyed it. I like that it shows how hard is for girls to be in the field filled by men. Love the main relationship between the characters. Love is also the main character. Like the spicy chapter. The only minus is I just wish the first kiss was not a surprise kiss. But the overall amazing story is good to read if you are stuck in reading a book or looking for something light to read.

I honestly really enjoyed this book I read it in a day and loved the plot as well as the characters! It was funny when it wanted to be and tense and sadder when it wanted to be as well. It is a more fluffy romance read but it does have a deeper side.
