I ate this book up! Fake dating tropes aren’t usually my go to, but this was absolutely precious and made me laugh. There were so many moments in this story I said “YES GIRL” out loud! I love love love Olive and her rambling. I very much relate. 

This book is 100% grumpy/sunshine and made me smile all the way through.

Not really my thing. I don’t love the fake dating trope and so I wasn’t really set up to love this book from the start.

Olive lied too many times. My goodness was it annoying to read about. She has a lot of growing to do and thus sometimes I really just wanted to yell at her to do something or to say something. (This was probably the author’s intention but I didn’t like it.)

Overall I am at a mix of why this went so viral but also understanding why at the same time. I didn’t love it and will have trouble recommending it. But I also recognize what it did or tried to do.
