Absolutely loved this book. I laughed and cried so much. It’s a very good romance. Definitely recommend reading it.

Classic! This is a rare case where I liked the movie more than the book.

This was such a good experience! I think watching the movie first maybe clouded my judgment on this book but I still loved it. Their story is so wholesome I love Landon and Jamie forever

This was the first book that I have read from Nicholas Sparks where I was not impressed! I had seen the movie first, and while I tend to think that the book is better than the movie (pretty much always), this was actually the opposite. I found the movie to be a ton better than the book. Besides that, I found the writing to be less intuitive and romantic compared to his other books. I didn't feel that the characters really lived up to what their values and such were from the beginning of the book to what ended up happening in the end.

I’m not saying opposites can’t attract, but…
Also Landon was basically a douche as evidenced by his inner dialogue in the beginning but then he starts talking to Jamie and all of a sudden is a better person and is religious. Yeah, right.

One of the only cases where I like the movie better than the book.
