I should have read the reviews first. Need to read all the other Tie Ins to know what's going on. Liked Hellblazer much better (although if I read all the background comics, maybe I'd feel differently?)

I really don't like the Art in most of this. It was fine and then this stuff. Why do they switch artists like that? Ruined the story for me.

A little less than four stars, actually, but Goodreads still won't allow half stars (argh). Part of this story was rather confusing, if you're not up to date on the Justice League Dark storyline (which you should totally be reading) as well as other events in the DC world. However, most of this was fantastic. I loved it - and there were some scenes I would love to own stills..

I am not even going to pretend that I am interested in this series any more.

I'm not sure Ray Fawkes is the right writer for Constantine... but perhaps it's because this is a crossover title, which I don't tend to pick up regularly. I much prefer Constantine to stand alone, separate from the world of superheroes, and his involvement here required so much exposition that I found myself unable to enjoy a lot of the story.

I did not know I was supposed to read 4 other Justice League comics in order to get the full story. I was lost all through the book

It's like DC forgot what these collections are for, or perhaps their editorial brigade is really just this grabastic; the first arc within the book is good but leaves loose ends that need tidying, and then we jump into the Event In Progress, and then back out (?) and then back in, but leaving off on a cliffhanger. That, plus the uneven art and silly "magic" dialogue in this one leave me profoundly cold but without the flame.

No better than the first volume unfortunately. I mean, not to be too harsh, it was OK, just nothing special. I really didn't like the art style in it. It changed between two very different styles of art for no obvious reason, one of which was good, but one I really didn't like.

I actually think I liked the plot in this volume better than the first, and that's saying something because it does the thing which I hate, which is to go directly off stories told in other titles so if you are just reading this title whole chapters of the story are missing. I'm all for stories crossing over and influencing each other but I also want to be able to read one title and be able to to get a story form it. It also doesn't really have an ending. Not a very satisfying read. But I did enjoy the last issue in this volume. I wish the whole book had been written and drawn like that.

That was a bit confused, but those are my thoughts. I probably won't be continuing on with this one.

Fawkes is a great writer, but he's being hampered in this series by having to play into the wider DC Universe. It's as though he can't get a arc out before he's squashed by some stupid crossover that doesn't effect the book at all.
