Enjoyable set of short stories. I read this because I watched the tv series Justified, so I particularly liked the title story. I also liked The Tonto Woman

Good collection of stories. I enjoyed the title story, though it doesn't make me want to read more of the Rylan series, or investigate the Justified TV Show.

Short stories are always hard to review. Fire in the Hole itself is a 5 star short story. I loved it! There were several other amazing stories that I just thought were awesome. Some not so much. A few were boring or odd, and some were good but not outstanding. Of course, if you like Leonard this is a must, and if you are trying to read all the Justified books, then this is the pilot episode!

The dialogue is superb, especially when people are flirting or fighting, but the actual stories left me a little cold.
